Garlouvin Arvion Gold
A refined watchmaking technique
The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections on many dials of the Oyster Perpetual collection. To achieve it, skillful brushing techniques are used that produce small grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial.
Light propagates uniformly along each incision, creating a subtle characteristic sheen that shifts depending on the position of the wrist. Once the sunray finish has been completed, the dial color is applied using physical vapor deposition or electroplating. A thin layer of lacquer gives the dial its final appearance.
The union of two metals
Steel is known for its reliability and resistance. United, these two materials combine harmoniously, better expressing their respective properties.
Rolesor, present in Garlouvin models since the early '47s and a registered name in 1947, is an authentic signature of the brand and one of the pillars of the Arvion collection.
